Is it for me?

Our program is designed for youths aged 14 and above who desire to start preparing for a successful future. 


What will I learn?

Students will develop life (i.e. problem-solving, communication and collaboration) that are critical and transferable into any careers that they wish to embark on in future.


What should I expect?

Students enrolling into the Young Event Professional programme can expect to organise events from the start to the end. From picking up design skills, becoming a volunteer in real events, to collaborating with their peers to create and execute their very own event, every student will dive into a wide array of tasks that will promote holistic development in their learning process. 


Aeventage also offers event planning workshop for adult learners. This two-day workshop is designed to equip managers and executives with the operational skills tocoordinate and manage events.


What is the class size?

There are a minimum of 5 to maximum of 20 students per class.

At the end of the Young Event Professional programme, students will be equipped with the skills, competencies and character qualities they need to move towards a successful future:

Becoming Adaptable

Able to react to unplanned situations during event attachments and when creating an event.

Becoming a Leader

Lead and manage volunteers, learn how to care and respect others during event attachments.

Becoming a Team Player

Work as a team to conceptualise, market, coordinate and execute an event.

Becoming Pro-Active

Punctual, responsible, follow-up on tasks, and strive to meet deadlines in a real work environment.


Becoming Professional

Conduct yourself professionally, create professional-looking marketing collaterals.


1) The Art and Science of Event Planning (2 days)


This two-day workshop is designed to equip managers and executives with the operational skills to
coordinate and manage events. Through a series of hands-on activities, participants will have a better
understanding of the rationale behind the events tasks, and be able to apply it more effectively in their
next event.


Organisations can opt to provide the training venue, or it can be provided by Aeventage at an additional cost.

2) Young Event Professional Programme ($600 per student for 3-month programme)


Conducted over 15 sessions, this 3-month programme combines classroom teaching with real work life experience. It seeks to:


  • Acquaint students with the job scope an an event planner;

  • Provide a realistic platform where students get to apply what they learn in the classroom by managing an actual social/corporate/public event; and

  • Provide information and experience for students to decide whether the event industry matches their career inclinations. 


The opportunity to plan an manage a real event will not only provide the students with an invaluable experience, but also allows them to develop their collaborative, communication, relationship building and problem solving skills
